And now it's time for some trainspotting in Sweden

Which is not so easy without 1409 covering all trains, so I'm heading to Jörn in the north, where I've never been disappointed so far. 3 night trains are departing from Stockholm within 2 hours 

When traveling to the north, it is essential to be prepared for one of the most annoying creatures in the world: mosquitoes.

Due to railworks, the night carriages are only bound for Luleå. Travellers to Narvik must change trains in Boden.

This is the 2nd night train approaching Bastuträsk. Due to railworks, the timetable has been modified with later arrivals than usual.

ARE and NRE trains are best spotted in the north during the daytime.

ARE trains are hauled by CargoNet, while NRE trains were operated by Green Cargo until December 2024 and by OnRail thereafter.

185 675 is familiar to me; I have seen it many times in southern Sweden when TX Logistik was operating this locomotive. Now it is leased by CargoNet
