Persborg, Rosengård, Östervärn, Malmö

I've arrived in Copenhagen, and today I'll visit Malmö
Clarion hotel at Copenhagen airport, Kastrup
On my way from Kastrup station to Malmö

From Hyllie, I'm taking Pågatåg to Persborg
Just missed a Hector Rail train on the way to Denmark

SJ Euronight from Berlin

Snälltåget from Berlin

DB Cargo Scandinavia train to Hamburg (Maschen)
EG 3105

The distance between Persborg and the next station Rosengård is less than 1km, so I'm taking a walk

Rich wildlife in the area

Rosengård is considered the most dangerous area in Malmö, so the police have set up a drone surveillance

Does not look so dangerous to me

Rosengård
I'm continuing the walk but on a e-scooter to Östervärn

Hi there
A path next to the railway with graffiti paintings

Östervärn
Just in time for the next train

EG 3103 and 185 336

Östervärn area in Malmö

6193 162 and 6193 153
The locomotives were manufactured in 2023 and have country package: D, A, N, S, DK

Near Östervärn, it is possible to view Södra Stambanan railway and the freight rail yard from a bridge

Coop and CargoNet trains are parked here

Back in Östervärn

193 411 and 241 003

The railway between Malmö and Trelleborg is closed today, so the daily CargoNet is departing from Malmö instead

Malmö Kirseberg Prison, also known as Kirsebergsanstalten, formerly Malmö Central Prison, is a former prison and closed institution in security class 2 (with added so-called increased security) located in the Kirseberg district of northern Malmö. The institution was a cell prison with a total of 151 places. (Wikipedia)

EG 3102 arriving to Malmö from Germany

Snälltåget has caught up

241 009 "Moneypenny"

243 117 "De Glehn"
Where is this one going? It can't go to Denmark, and the Trelleborg railay is closed today

EG 3102

And now I'm walking to Triangeln station

Malmö has many nice streets and buildings to explore

Malmö is the city of contrasts.

Pro Palestine and LGBTQ... Things can get really mixed up here in Malmö
Triangeln station
I'm back at Kastrup

For passengers traveling to Sweden there is a Swedish flag labeled ticket machines here in Denmark
