Eskilstuna, Arboga

(Please note this post was made 2017-03-09). Today I'm starting a series of posts from the old photos and trips. This one was from Stockholm to Örebro via Eskilstuna and Arboga on June the 7th, 2013. The weather was nice, the summer had just started, it could not be better than this.

At Stockholm Central, probably one of the freight trains for the construction of Citybanan tunnel.

Back in 2013, service Stockholm-Eskilstuna was operated with X40 trains. Here is end station - Eskilstuna.

Back in 2013, the trains went only to Eskilstuna, from where there was another train to Arboga.
This train, an X12, operated back in 2013 the short service Eskilstuna-Arboga.
 A refurbished X12 is operating service Linköping-Sala.

Katrineholm, Flen

2017-12-03: Sorting my old photos, this was one of my first round trips by train before the start of this blog.
I decided spontaneously to take a train to Katrineholm. It was the X55 service to Karlstad. At Grödingebanan the train reached 200km/h
