Eurobahnhof in Saarbrücken
The Eurobahnhof (or Eurostation) is the name given to the Saarbrücken 21 project to modernize the station. The existing station and surrounding land were rebuilt. In June 2007, a significant milestone in the project's progress was reached with the opening of the Paris-Eastern France-Southern Germany (POS) high-speed route, featuring branches to Stuttgart and Frankfurt, with the latter connecting from Saarbrücken.
