Saint-Avold, Rémilly, Réding, Saverne, Dettwiller, Hochfelden, Stephansfeld, Graffenstaden

Eurobahnhof in Saarbrücken
The Eurobahnhof (or Eurostation) is the name given to the Saarbrücken 21 project to modernize the station. The existing station and surrounding land were rebuilt. In June 2007, a significant milestone in the project's progress was reached with the opening of the Paris-Eastern France-Southern Germany (POS) high-speed route, featuring branches to Stuttgart and Frankfurt, with the latter connecting from Saarbrücken. Today I'm heading to France. Just like 7 years ago, I'm taking the only regional connection, and just like back then, it is still a diesel railcar

How strange it may seem, there are almost no passengers on the train

To get from Remilly to Strasbourg, I have to change trains in Morhange

The new Alstom Coradia Polyvalent Cross-Border train was supposed to be in service between Germany and France, but due to political disagreement the trains are used for services in France only. I will have more photos of this train later on.
